A most elaborate and ornate Rosewood Rococo Revival pierce carved floral parlor set. Consisting of a triple back sofa and matching armchair. Heavily carved with several different flowers & pierced leaf & scroll work in the center, raised on Cabriole Legs with open arms. This set is definitely from an important New York manufacturer working circa 1850, is it Roux, Dessoir, Baudoine, these are some of the strong possibilities, others might say Meeks or Belter but I do not think so. This set has just been French polished and tufted in a rose damask fabric. Please check 500 & 500B to see additional images
