An Elaborate Rosewood Victorian Easel with incised gilding, & gilt bronze lion head and other metal mounts along with a porcelain portrait medallion. New York circa 1865 attrib to Herter Bros, The shelf to hold the painting is adjustable, the finish is original & has been French polished, the shelf adjusts thru a mechanical mechanism that lifts it into brass grooves which is most unusual, there is a pad on the bottom which maintains worn original fabric

This is another rare example of the Victorian double chair loveseat made by Belter. The legs, apron, draw & crest are all made of Rosewood. This piece has just been tufted and reupholstered in a silk velvet. To date, only 4 of this rare form have appeared on the market, both comfortable & beautiful

A Victorian Pedestal of Walnut, Burl, Rosewood Original Gilt decoration and marble top, [black marble top is possibly not original to pedestal] The gilt metal Jenny Lind head used so frequently by Jelliff maintains its original gilt finish as does all the gold decoration on the table. The wood has been French polished & the pedestal is in excellent condition, the marble top is 10.5 inches square, height is 40 inches

A block laminated rosewood Rococo revival laminated center table with applied carvings of leaves and fruits & flowers on the legs by John Henry Belter NY circa 1850, maintains original finish, white marble top is a probable 19th Century replacement, this table is now on loan to the Suffolk County Historical Society, Riverhead N.Y. exhibit on the Civil War, & is set in front of a Belter Parlor set.
