this is the most famous example of the Hunzinger Rockers often named the Lollipop Rocker because of the sticks and balls at the top. The tops are decorated with what many call a flower. Besides being great to look at they are extremely comfortable. This one has been cleaned and waxed. The upholstery has been on for a long time & a new fabric would do wonders. It also maintains its original paper label which I attempted to photograph

The favorite Hunzinger Platform Rocker, with original label intact on bottom, is this lollipop model, so named for its sticks with round balls on the top, looking like lollipops. This one has just been acquired and maintains its original finish which should be polished. Of course this model was shown in the exhibition of Hunzinger Furniture at the Brooklyn Museum in New York
