A Victorian Kilian Bros paint decorated pedestal [red & gold paint], with metal winged cherubs reading a book, & original chains. this table is pictured in the 1870 catalog of Kilian Bros and show in Masterpieces of American Furniture from the Munson- Williams- Proctor Institute. It is in original and as found condition & has not been repolished as yet. There is shrinkage on the very top circular piece of wood and the cherubs have lost their Victorian paint. 11inches round, & 39 1/2inches tall

The masks or heads are very crisply carved the pierced apron is carved with masks and brass details, there is a bottom scalloped shelf that has circular brass pieces, all raised on dog paw feet
