A rare Veiled Parian figurine of a Mother & Veiled Child by R Monti sculptor for Copeland. The back is marked Ceramic & Crystal Art Union, Copyright Reserved & dated illegably. Above that mark it is signed R Monti. The figurine is in perfect condition & is 15 & a half tall & 11 inches wide.

Copeland 3 Graces Compote SOLD

A 21 inch tall porcelain 3 grace compote with an open work pierced basket, with a high white gloss and turquoise trim, I have also seen this compote in Parian and signed Copeland. However, this piece is an unsigned copeland centerpiece, it is in excellent condition except for the sliver off the base that is shown in the third to last image

One of the tallest Parians on the market is this 24inch figurine of Egeria by R H Foley, Egeria was an Italian Nymph, featured in Ovid & Byron;s Childe Harold who lived beside a fountain between the old Appiah Way and the modern road to Naples, the figure is mint, the base is chipped only in the rear and damage is shown

Minton Parian Queen Victorianoria

This is a 19 inch Parian figurine of a young Victorianoria, she is carrying the holy bible and wears a bracelet with Prince Alberts face. Her mourning cloths are flowing and is reminiscent of the sculptures of R Monti. The base is 9 inches wide. She is important because she is pictured here as a young woman & most of the parians of Queen Victorianoria are of an older woman. There is a fleck on the side of the base, Upon close examination, I feel that her large finger & very tip of her nose have been painted with the finger possibly being restored. Even, with these condition issues, how often do you see a full figured and young Victorianoria?

Wonderful & early English Parian serving piece, consisting of a covered bowl and underlplate. This set is in a floral design, & the finial is a flower. The set is in very good condition but needs a cleaning and there is a fleck off of one petal. There is an english registry mark on the back. the underplate is 8inches round. this pattern was made by either Copeland or Minton Parian
