Cast Iron Lily of the Valley Set

The Lily of the Valley is a rare pattern, The bench here is signed "Pequonnock Foundry Inc, Bridgeport Conn". I bought this grp as a set but in recently having them painted, the chairs appear to be signed by Coalbrookdale! The detail on the chairs is excellent & by examining the photos below you can see the lilies on the chairs, the chairs have the english registry mark along with "Bdale" the bench at the widest part where the arms and seat meet is 56\" long, but the back is much less, the chairs besides being comfortable are 26\" wide & 22\" deep

A rare and distinctive cast iron garden bench & one of the earliest registered designs by Coalbrookdale, it was registered in 1844, & described as the serpent & grape with dog heads on the arms & originally offered in green and chocalate, & I believe this bench maintains its original green patina, for close ups see #611, Bench is 74 inches long
